- Many times in my 71 years have I gone to PT, but this time I have had the best experience. Previously, I was never “pushed” when the therapist thought I could do better. I was just allowed to continue at my own pace. I thank you for your kindness and understanding, as well as knowing how far I can really go. You are “one in a million.” Thanks ever so much. I will stop in at times to say hello.MarlenePatient
- Since my initial brain injury 6 months ago leaving me with severe vertigo, vision impairments, and overall weakness and imbalance, my family and I have gone through a difficult journey of uncertainty that has once again tested our strength, faith, and more. Many people have come into our lives as a result of this, offering us hope, love, and support. I wanted to take this time to thank all of you at Physical Therapy and Sport Services, for not only offering your professional services, but for going above and beyond to ensure that I was cared for at every session as if I was your most important client. I know through observing your practice that this how you treat all of your patients, it just really makes a difference to feel the individualized and focused care that is consistently given to me through these months. The New York Balance team, especially my outstanding physical therapist, Dr. Kim Pena, keep me succeeding in my rehabilitation. Through ongoing evaluations, and unique, methodical treatment plans I have gained STEPS that I may not have otherwise made at this time. I think Albert Einstein said it best, “Balance is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” And I feel that your office staff and therapists have helped me get on that bicycle and I look forward to riding off into the New Year with all of your support. You have helped my family and I sustain our determination, pull through devastation, and prepare ourselves once again for a marathon that we were not quite ready for. The strength, hope healing and awareness we have gained along the way has been greatly helped by your efforts. You all make me proud to be a healthcare professional and I can now look forward to returning to my career soon. With much love and wishes for a Happy and Healthy Holidays.Lisa and the Romard Family (Roy, Ryan, Lyndsey, and Lola our puppy too)Patient
